We invite you to worship with us on Sunday morning! We gather for worship every Sunday at 10:30 am to grow in our Christian walk and to glorify God. We do this as we sing hymns, read Scripture, pray, preach, and partake of the Lord’s Supper and baptism. Below is more information to help you plan your visit and know what you can expect. You can find a sample bulletin that represents our normal order of service here. A new mothers room with a video stream of the worship service is also available for mothers with nursing infants.
Our Services & What to Expect
Adult Equipping Hour & Sunday School
Sundays, 9:15am – 10:00am
We offer inductive and topical classes in Scripture and theology for all ages, with childcare provided for infants and toddlers. Adults meet together in the main sanctuary, while children and youth gather in classrooms according to their age for biblical teaching and discussion.
Sunday Morning Worship
Sundays, 10:30am – 12:15pm
Sunday morning worship is the center of our life together as a church. We gather to sing, pray, hear the reading of Scripture, confess our faith, and receive the Word preached and the sacraments of the Lord’s Supper and baptism. Our services are reverent and God-centered as we seek to draw near to Him together through His Word. Childcare is available for under 3, but children of all ages are welcome in the service.
Music
We combine joy and reverence in our musical worship as an expression of the Christian life. Our singing is intentionally congregational—led with simple accompaniment and marked by both warmth and reverence. We sing a rich blend of old and new hymns and choruses, all aimed at fostering heartfelt, unified praise to God. The below videos are taken from typical Sunday mornings at Trinity Church and are representative of the kind of congregational singing that characterizes our church.
Prayers and Scripture Reading
We have a variety of prayers – confession, praise, thanksgiving, and pastoral supplication. We pray for needs inside and outside our church, knowing that the kingdom of God goes beyond Trinity’s ministry. We also have a public Scripture reading from either the Old or New Testament.
Creeds, Confessions, and Catechisms
It is a regular element of our worship to confess the truths of the Christian faith contained in historic Creeds, Confessions and Catechisms. Through confession of these statements, we express unity with the universal church throughout history, instruct each other in right doctrine and give proper praise and glory to God. You can see a list of the historic statements we regularly use here.
Sermons
We are passionately committed to expositional preaching, meaning that point of the sermon is the point of the particular passage. The preaching is approximately 50 minutes.
Response
We regularly celebrate baptism and the Lord’s Supper as Christ commanded and as a picture of the Gospel. We partake of the Lord’s Supper every week in the morning service. All baptized believers who are in good standing of an evangelical church are welcome to partake of the Lord’s Supper.
Fellowship
We would love for you to stay after the service so our members and pastors can welcome you to Trinity and answer questions you may have about the church and Christianity.
Participation
If you are not a Christian, you are very welcome and should feel the freedom to participate in the service to whatever degree you are comfortable. We do not expect you to affirm or sing about things you do not believe. You are more than welcome to sit and observe.
Sunday Evening Prayer Meeting
On the first three Sundays of each month, we gather for a brief evening service that includes singing, a short sermon, and an extended time of prayer together. Childcare is provided for children under three, and youth in grades 6–12 have their own activities during this time.
On the fourth Sunday of each month, we gather from 4:30–6:30 p.m. for a potluck fellowship meal where we enjoy good food and time together as a church family.
Membership
The New Testament calls every Christian to identify with Christ and his people by committing to a local church. Church membership is the name we give to this commitment wherein Christians agree to love one another and to be shepherded by their elders. You can learn more about our process of church membership below.
Step 1 – Attend Our Gatherings
The best way to learn about our church is to join us for Sunday Morning Worship and our Sunday Evening Prayer Meeting. You can learn more about these gatherings above.
Step 2 – Knowing TCK Membership Class
Attend Knowing TCK, our two-part membership classes which will introduce you to our beliefs, leadership, core values and other important aspects of our church. This class takes place a few times a year and includes lunch and childcare. If you are a visitor and are interested in taking part in our next membership class, please fill out the visitor form here.
Step 3 – Membership Interview
Should you choose to pursue membership at Trinity after attending both parts of the Knowing TCK membership class, you will meet with two elders for a membership interview. While some may be intimidated by this, these interviews are designed for us to hear your personal testimony and answer any questions you may have about the church.
Step 4 – Next Steps
After the membership interview, we will help guide you through the necessary next steps to joining the church. For some, this may mean continued discipleship or baptism before joining the church. For everyone, the final step of church membership involves a recommendation to the congregation for their vote of affirmation. Either way, we will guide you through the process each step of the way.
